PhD Studentships founded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) with the reference SFRH/BD/86628/2012. The thesis was subordinated to the theme "New Topology of Bidirectional Unified Converter for Traction and Battery Charging Systems in Electric Vehicles". In the PhD thesis was implemented a new topology of bidirectional converter that integrates the powertrain and the battery charging system.

Trainer of the "Robotics Workshop" that took place at basic school Lamaçães. There was an initiation class, where the students learn to use the soldering iron and they started programming the robot Bot'n Roll ONE A online through the platform Open Roberta Lab. Open Roberta Lab is an open source programming platform developed by Fraunhofer Institute under the initiative Roberta - Learning with Robots. The second class improve the knowledge obtained during the initiation class (previous year). The students continuing with the programming of the robot Bot'n Roll ONE A in open source software Arduino.
Trainer of the "Robotics Workshop" that took place at basic school Lamaçães. The workshop aimed to take the students curiosity, directing them to the discovery, apprehension and application of the concepts in the areas of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics. In this workshop, the students welded and built the robots Bot'n Roll ONE A. It was a practical and oriented approach, which allowed to consolidate the scientific knowledge acquired in class. The robots were used as work tools.
